• Archbishop’s Cantacare Appeal is run around the diocese this Sunday Centacare is the welfare arm of the Archdiocese of Brisbane. The proceeds of this appeal go to the charitable services of Centacare in the areas of Catholic Family & Community Services (with a special emphasis on Children Help Programs), Hospital Chaplaincy, Psychiatric Pastoral Care and Prison Ministry. Each year the demand for services from Centacare continues to rise and whilst some services receive Government funding, the gap between what is provided by Government and the costs involved in delivering these services continues to grow. Centacare Brisbane provides services and care for in excess of 50,000 people annually. Proceeds from this appeal go in part towards covering this gap. All donations of $2.00 or more are tax deductible. Envelopes available at the entrance to the church.

• Forms for the November Masses are available from the table at the back of the church. Please fill them up and put into the box. The Common November Masses will be held every Friday of November at 7am with the rosary prayer before the Mass commenced at 6:30am. Thanks for any offering which you will put along with the November Masse they are to support your priests and also to support seminarians of the Society of Christ in Poland.

• Care and Concern Thanksgiving Mass is to be held on Saturday November 22 2008 @ St. Patrick’s Church Fortitude Valley. Mass will be celebrated at 9.30a.m. All welcome. 

• Tomorrow will occur the 35th anniversary of the death of Fr. Kasjan Wolak. Let’s remember him in our prayers.

• Next Sunday we will celebrate the Solemnity of Christ the King, this is also a patronal feast of the Society of Christ priests and Missionaries Sisters of Christ the King who work in our Parish as well it will be opportunity to celebrate 40th anniversary of ordination of Fr. Stan Lipski, who is working with the Polish Community at the Gold Coast and helping us on weekends. Please remember this events in your prayer. After 10am Polish Mass a parish luncheon will be held in our parish hall. All Welcome. Tickets will be available at the entrance. 

• we’d like to invite you for all night adoration of the Blessed Sacrament which will be held in our church every Saturday night after 6pm Polish Vigil Mass.
